Question

I have a similar error

**** ProgrammingError("ERROR:  type \xc2\xab geometry \xc2\xbb  does not exist \nLINE 3: geom geometry(LINESTRING, 21781),\n ^\n",)

Process aborted! ******

The number 21781 is the projection (CH1903)

... but Postgis and Postgis topography are already installed

Could it be that this projection is unsupported by RiverGIS?

Hi Eribar,

I would check the PostGIS installation. Have you downloaded and installed the right version?

Are you able to process some other data, for instance the Bald Eagle example data?

CH1903 is well supported projection in PostGIS.
