Am confused on this step. I've successfully established a database connection, but can't seem to determine how to enable the "greyed-out" buttons of the RiverGIS plugin to become active. I've experimented with the Database Manager, the "Spit" plugin, etc. all to no avail.  My difficulty is apparently understanding PostGIS and PostgreSQL. Perhaps a finer breakdown of the steps would help.

The RiverGIS icons are greyed-out until a database schema chosen as active. If there is no schema in your database you have to create it. Please, use the Create new Schema from Database menu of RiverGIS and let us know if it works. If not, maybe your database user has no creation privileges. Also be sure to create the PostGIS extension for the database, as described in the Requirements.

Problem was solved when I went back into "Creating a new postGIS connection" and checking the "SAVE" buttons as shown on the Requirements page of the RiverGIS site. Thanks!
