Problems with Stream centerlines Lenghts

Question

Hi,

i'm a new user of RiverGis.

I try to follow the documentation but i find the first problems in building the River network.

I create Database and  the database tables, in particulat the "StreamCenterlines" . I edit the tables drawing the river.

Than i use the Topology tool and it work correctly. Instead the tool for River Lengths/Stations doesn't work.

The Fields ReachLen, FromSta e ToSta are empty.

can anyone help me?

Did you find a way to cope with you problem ?
When you said "Instead the tool for River Lengths/Stations doesn't work.", is there an error ?
Does your river network contain multiple reaches ?

I personnaly get some problem with multiple reaches for River Lengths/Stations topology tool.
The scheme of my network is like :

          \___________/
Before and after the split, Rivergis is able to calculate LLenght / ChLenght / RLenght but in the multiple reaches area, the table contains only NULL values. However the calculation seems to be ok :
"Calculating cross-sections distances to the next cross-section downstream ...
XSCutLines already exists inside RiverGIS registry.
Channel flowpaths done.
XSCutLines already exists inside RiverGIS registry.
Left flowpaths done.
XSCutLines already exists inside RiverGIS registry.
Right flowpaths done."

Maybe caused by only 2 flowpaths for 2 reaches ?

I am working on that, but if anyone has some advices ...
